Cheer Song 12/24/08

I thought I would post a picture of Sue and her daughter from last Christmas. I love her festive outfit. I hope that each of you are enjoying this time of year as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, who was born in lowly circumstances and then grew up to die for our sins and rose again so that we can have eternal life through Him. I pray that each of you have a wonderful Christmas and that God's lovingkindness and peace surrounds you.

Here is today's Cheer Song: Enjoy!
God is Healing Us of Cancer (to Deck the Halls)

God is healing us of cancer
Fa-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la
Start the music
Cue the dancer
Fa-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la
His love for us can not be measured
Fa-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la
Life in Him is our greatest treasure
Fa-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la

He has laid His life down for us
Fa-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la
And He walks the road before us
Fa-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la
We’ll follow Him wherever He leads us
Fa-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la
Until in heaven, He will greet us
Fa-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la

Wonderful Thanksgiving

God is so good! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with both sides of our family represented. It was a bittersweet time after burying my husband's dad on Monday and the first Thanksgiving without my dad as well. God is gracious and gave us a great time of fellowship and feasting.

The picture is of my beautiful sister, Margie, and her equally beautiful daughter, Ginny. Margie has just gotten her port taken out the day before (Tuesday). Doesn't she look great? She takes a licking and keeps on ticking. My life is so much richer with her in it. Thank you Lord for family!
